She's a half-elf bard, Vaea, who's always lied about and covered up her past (she was a slave who assisted in time travel experiments), hence her previous backstory (which I also wrote) only telling her life AFTER her escape, where she took the name Sparrow. (Before she was blackmailed by Strahd and forced to act as a spy, that is)

But given the current state of our Curse of Strahd campaign and our intent to start a revolution, she thought she'd get some pretty good results by sharing her REAL story and her escape, which is intrinsically tied to the story of her ancestral elves.

I'm actually so elated to have written this and it makes me want to write a full novel about her.

Elladan has poor vision in his right eye due to a blow to the head 300 years ago and the discrepancy between his eyes often gives him headaches

they can both shape-shift into other 'human' forms better than their father and sister

because of this Elladan often 'plays' Elrond when he's home and Elrond needs to rest, since they have many of the same mannerisms it's easiest for him

when they were young their hair often switched between black and silver outside of their control

it settled on black when they were about six years old

but they can still switch easily to silver just by thinking about it

they can also change their eye colour from bright silver to lake blue to obsidian

this also can happen when their feelings or mood change quickly and was a dead give-away that they weren't quite elves all the way through their early adulthood

they're both intersex

Elrohir has his mother's laugh and when he first started to laugh again after her departure it stung

they both were born with two missing ribs compared to most humans and elves, though it is not very noticeable from the outside, it does leave them with some larger gaps between their ribs

their armour contains the most mithril in one place of all the "free peoples" of middle-earth and most of it came from their maternal grandparents

My second submission for the TRSB 2020 event this summer! My collaborative partner for this piece is Drag0nst0rm on AO3 / Sweetteaanddragons :) The fic for this piece will come soon around September 6, if I remember correctly!

So, my idea for this piece was that Earendil meets with Elrond for the first time in Valinor, and is super overcome to see his son after ... I guess over 6000 years or so XDD I also imagine that the Silmaril is attached to Earendil through strands of light that swirl around his head.
