"Lady Cousland," Though the words spoken were ones usually formal, there was no mistaking the playful familiarity that teased into the words. Nor was it hard to miss the mischief that flashed in bright blue eyes as Sebastian gently took Rose's hand and raised it up, bowing to place a soft kiss to the back of it. Few people eyed the young pair, but none currently in the vicinity cared enough to bother getting involved. The troublemakers weren't THEIR problem. A grin curls the young man's lips as he straightened himself, casting a look towards where he'd appeared from. No sign of his 'baby sitter' in sight. Good.
"Lucky me, I was hoping to run into someone worth conversing with at this party. Although... it does feel rather cramped in here, does it not? Care to step out on the balcony for a breath of fresh air and a little more elbow room?"
The familiar accent hit her ear and Rose began to grin ear to ear. “Lord Vael.” She replied, sheepish as ever. Her fingertips curled gently around his hand and butterflies filled her stomach as his soft lips pressed against her hand. “Keep that up there are bound to be some whispers floating when we leave.” She nodded her head towards the nearest entrance.
“You know how If eel about these formal events. Once we get outside we should be able to escape for a bit, unless you have something else planned.” Sebastian kept Rose on her toes, and she loved him for that. “Lead the way, or is this a race to see who can get there first?”
