Living like a happy little family, because after all Shiro has two hands :D I could see them just kinda falling into this, like Shiro loves both Neko and Kuroh and Neko especially probably doesn’t think much of the idea that you’re ‘supposed’ to only have one person you love. Kuroh would likely be the one who’s the most hesitant, like he’s pretty sure there’s something he should be worrying about with this arrangement but at the same time he can’t deny that it works for them. Like just imagine after all school and they’re all just hanging out and cuddling, Shiro in the middle and Neko’s right in his lap and then she and Shiro both drag Kuroh over so that he’s right beside them too. Kuroh feels like he should find something indecent about this but Neko is just holding both their hands and Shiro’s smiling and somehow it feels very comfortable, being surrounded by warmth this way.
I imagine it wouldn’t be something they’d ‘announce’ until well after Kuroh and Neko have graduated though, Shiro’s aware that to people who don’t know their history it would probably look a little weird that he’s in a relationship with his two student-age roommates and he’s worried that it could affect how Kuroh and Neko are viewed by their peers (though Neko probably wouldn’t care for the most part, just insisting that she loves Shiro and Kuroh and she doesn’t get why people wouldn’t be happy about that). By that time though everyone’s probably figured it out, like everyone’s seen the three of them walking around hand in hand in public and they’re always together, it’s not hard to see from everyone’s expressions how close they’ve become. It’s not an arrangement Shiro would have guessed he’d find himself in but he can’t be upset about it either, these are the two people who helped bring him back down to become part of the world again and now he can’t possibly imagine a world without them both in it.
