Nya’s powers start from the crown of her head and flood out into her veins, reaching into every part of her. It is something she feels in all of her body, like it’s her whole being, and she is one with it.
Kai’s powers start deep and low, right beneath his gut. They crawl up to his lungs and chest, where air—and by extension oxygen and food for the flames—circulates the most. It is constantly burning inside him.
Both fire and water are wild and untamable. They are both conduits for their powers but in different ways. Kai is the forge for his fire and Nya IS her water.
