On the topic of bugsnax affecting trumps headcanons, thereโs one I plan to explore in writing eventually: if a Grump gets sick, their immune system in the pursuit of outing whatever virus there is also attacks the snakified parts of their body, as itโs almost completely made up of foreign entities, which results in speeding up the process of the bugsnaks wearing off.
On one hand, I love that idea!! Snot may be dripping out of your nose but at least you have fingers again!!
On the other hand, your body is attacking itself while in a vulnerable state, and the snakified limb would break down and slough off like diseased tissue, leaving a gaping wound in its wake before the limb could revert back to normal flesh...
