Mm, more along the lines of "Go with the flow". Though it's less that and more "Go where you're told to go". As the WoL he can't really go off and do whatever, (well, he can try, but we all know how that generally pans out). But even before he became the WoL he generally went where the money was made, the booze was good, and the ladies were beautiful, but he had the choice in where he could go.

• ┈┈┈┈┈┈╰ † ╮     it    was    an    incredible    evening    for    them.    vincent    wasn’t    the    type    of    person    that    would    go    out    of    his    way    to    do    anything    romantic.    there    was    no    real    reason    to    be.    but    with    aerith,    he    felt    that    he    could    give    it    a    try    again.    preparing    dinner    so    they    could    enjoy    a    candlelit    dinner    outside    in    her    garden.    well,    the    candle    was    actually    a    lantern    to    avoid    a    catastrophe.    such    as    a    fire.    vincent    didn’t    want    to    hurt    aerith    by    destroying    what    was    important    to    her.   

     a    blanket    was    laid    down    with    dinner,    but    of    course...    she    made    a    thing    of    it    by    teasing    him.    naturally,    he    was    used    to    it!    the    second    that    stopped,    he    would    know    something    was    bothering    her.    as    dinner    was    concluded,    he    leaned    back    to    stare    up    at    the    stars    with    her.    it    was    a    beautiful    night    compared    to    the    others    which    have    been    cold    &    damp.

     to    his    surprise,    he    heard    the    line    she    just    dropped    on    him.    what    was    this?    vincent    couldn’t    believe    how    adorable    she    was!    resting    back    on    the    ground    with    his    arms    reaching    out    for    aerith    to    lay    in    his    arms,    placing    a    kiss    to    her    forehead    before    kissing    her    lips    tenderly.
