Koushi prepped the soil for another set of seeds. He was planting Dahlias this time, the perfect flower for the summer. He loved the way the petals were pink at the edges and fanned into a bright yellow towards the center. He always admired the way nature painted the flowers like an artist would. He heard the bell of the door jingle and turned to see a familiar face.

Miss Granada.

One of his favorite regulars. The woman always had plenty of interesting things to say, and was always a source of entertainment when she came in. The two could talk for hours, especially if business was slow. He smiled at her and gave her a wave with his free hand.
