i think harry finds him at some cottage and draco either doesnt remember him or only barely remembers. hes a lot kinder than he was during hogwarts. there was gardening involved at some point. draco often has lapses in his memory so he writes everything in a journal. he does remember harry for the first few visits but eventually he forgets and harry is a little shaken. harry feels some guilt for liking this draco bc of all the things hes done in the past to him and to his loved ones but he later concludes that this draco is an altogether new version of him and decides to be with draco and love him and help him despite the challenge of draco losing his memories over and over again.

this might be a long shot cause i don’t remember a lot of details. i read this fic a couple years ago on ao3,

it’s a memory loss fic, and i believe draco was obliviated after being attacked. i don’t think he can remember the war and all his actions. he stays with narcissa and she takes care of him. i think he likes to work with plants, i know he has some sort of hobby that keeps him busy.

narcissa asks harry to come by for some reason, i can’t remember the exact reason why. harry ends up running into draco and he punches him. i believe narcissa or dracos explains the memory loss. harry stops by a lot to talk to draco, and they slowly become friends/lovers
