this is so hard to come up with an unpopular opinion with.. have the most fucking brilliant discography and concepts in all of kpop and one of the few groups to completely OWN deep bass (or whats it called) as a genre... best choreos best everything......... im calling this unpopular since most kpop fans do NOT stan vixx so :+)

one of my fave twdrama of all time and one that i almost always recommend is In Time with You (2011). its your ‘average’ friends-to-lovers story except it’s basically everything you could ever want in that sort of story (lol i know how much you love Bubblegum, so this just might be up your alley?). the chemistry btw the leads are amazing, and their friendship is so honest and realistic. i also esp love the family of the leads as well. twdramas have always stuck out to me in the way they write dynamics btw families.
i have more twdrama faves but theyre pretty old and idk if it would suit other people’s tastes.
as for cdramas, for me i havent seen many but the ones that i can w/o a doubt call my favorites are:
Nirvana in Fire (2015) - a historical drama that has plenty of political machinations that will keep you on your toes and then some. there are so many badass female characters, a riveting plot, and master storytelling at work that will draw both causal and hardcore drama viewers.
When a Snail Falls in Love (2016) - hands down one of the best slow burn romances. here is an amazing synopisis that i found on Soompi.
WaSFiL is a crime thriller and romance drama based on the novel of the same name by author Ding Mo. It stars Wang Kai as Ji Bai, an ace police detective who is in charge of the Violent Crimes Unit, and his partner Xu Xu, an intern criminal profiler played by Wang Zi Wen. The two seem like an awkward pairing, but in reality they’re the best team with an incredible track record in solving crimes. Ji Bai initially intended to fire Xu Xu due to her lack of physical fitness, but she is very talented in profiling. Over time, they become impressed and admire each others’ talents and work ethic, and the pair slowly fall in love in the midst of their investigations.
and then there’s Ode to Joy (2016) which while im only a third of the way thru, i dont seeing it becoming one of my faves, but still very worth the watch. while i was trying to convince my sister to watch this with me i basically sold it to her as the chinese Age of Youth, where you follow a group of wonderful women navigating their love and work life as they all live under the same roof (in their case the same floor). despite a couple irritating quibbles that i have with it, i still really like it overall and i love the main female characters a lot.
tagging ye-rims, nanssagajii bc pt squad bond is <3 (also nat but she tagged me so) i love u all so much and i cant think my life w/o u, for real, too precious to handle <3 + my friends haengah, rapper-hyo, yunjisunq, seolangel who just live in my heart <3 and all my fellow sones who made me so excited the past weeks, but mostly ninthwish, sooyyoung and sonesource who are just too precious and helpful and so kind to me <3 i would tag so many more people but yea these people live in my heart <3
