            had it come from literally anyone else, maybe marian would have given the words more merit, but as far as she was concerned, he was just as bad as her in that regard. when she had first come to kirkwall, yes, he had considerably more on his plate, but with her fame came more duties and mountains of letters asking for help to sift through. it took up most of her evenings, at least those that didn’t already involve clearing the streets of gangs and other troublemakers.

“I just pointed twenty Templars in the direction of the Docks. They think there is a batch of Tevinter Blood Mages ready to sack the city,” He says sharply. “You should be thanking me! It will take them at least half an hour to realize it was nothing more than a distraction. We should be fine. Really.... unless there is something else going on at the Docks today, but it will be fine. It will all be fine.”

      she couldn’t help but look at him like he’d grown a second head.  maybe a third and fourth for good measure.   ancient rock wraith demons ?  sure.  red lyrium bandits ?  all right,  fine.  a bunch of sadistic templars ?  absolutely.  but single combat with the arishok,  who could probably lift three times her weight with two fingers,  seemed a little . . . intense.  oh,  she was going to do it,  of course.  no way was she giving isabela over,  even if she’d stolen the qunari book.    ( okay,  so the results of that were nothing short of disastrous for all of kirkwall  ;  what margo knew of qunari punishments sounded too much like the tranquility that had been forced on her as a girl,  though,  and she’d NEVER agree to that. )    margo cleared her throat,  pulling her long hair back and over one thin shoulder.
