I used chrome for this, idk what'll happen in other browsers!

So, go to the mass post editor (on computer: click the little person logo in the top right, click posts, then click "mass post editor").

It'll let you choose a month; I chose the month I wanted to start deleting at - the idea is that it'll delete all posts from that month and all posts before!

Once you do that, hit f12, and it'll open up the DevTools! Hit the Console tab, then there'll be a little place to type in code that looks like:

Let it run... for a long time with that browser tab open. It takes a while, I let it run for an hour, and it got to the end!
