So I've uh, been having maybe just a liiiil too much fun working on the new sona redesign…

Figured it'd be neat to share what the process looks like~

It's definitely the biggest overhaul I've given her so far, I wanted to graduate her from just being a anthro rat robot to an actual species all her own (tentatively called hackrats~), which meant getting to have fun messing around with designs that that are distinct and stand out more 💕

Once I get her ref sheet all sorted out I wanna actually make a open species sheet for them in case anyone else wants to make one or just learn more about sona lore I never really talk about :P

They have had alternate reality teases.

Hackrat have Wrath of the Bride where the dialogue tries to keep who Sombra is "the bride of" an unanswered question but the visuals are a lot less subtle.

And now MekaMechanic seem to have a Catradora dynamic in the Magical Girl universe.

Now make both ships canon in the main timeline.
