A big hand wrapped around Nori’s eyes, blocking out the light of his computer screen. Another big hand plucked one hand, and then the other, off his keyboard. A warm chest pressed against his shoulders.
"It safe to turn off?"
The gravely voice was right by his ear. Nori suppressed a shiver and leaned back into the other to rub his cheek against a whiskery jaw.
"Not really…" Nori had been at this all day, which was probably why Dwalin had come to peel him away from his computer.
The hand left his eyes and moved towards the keyboard, “Then what do I need do?”
The process of backing up his work and turning off the computer took a bit longer than it needed to. Computers were never one of Dwalin’s strengths and Nori made sure to walk him through the steps carefully. Or as carefully as he could considering the way Dwalin way distracting him with lips on his neck and thumb rubbing circles into his still trapped wrists.
Finally the machine was powering down; the fans slowing to a stop. Nori was pulled up to stand on stiff legs but he had no worries of falling. Strong thick arms wrapped around him and Nori was happy to lean into them. The big man led them to their couch. He deposited Nori on the cushions and placed a quick kiss to his temple.
"Stay right there."
Nori smiled. There was no growl in Dwalin’s voice but the order still bought to mind the times that Nori would do his best to the exact opposite of what the bigger man asked.
Dwalin was back soon from the kitchen with a pizza from Nori’s favourite pizzeria and two bottles of beer. Nori’s smile widened and he leaned forward on the couch as Dwalin put down the food on the coffee table.
They both had food and drink. There was some dumb movie on TV. Dwalin had settled behind Nori and they were a comfortable tangle of limbs. Nori wasn’t even sure when he fell asleep.
