Whoa. Daisy has the roundest top view I've ever had on one of my rabbits. That's crazy. Her depth isn't super impressive, but I really like what I see. Aster, on the other hand IS longer, but he also wouldn't hold the pose for me, so his photo isn't a good representation of his actual shape from above. He's pretty round as well. Also, ignore his weight on the scale, that's from me holding his head in place. He's 5 lbs 13 oz. Daisy's weight is accurate. 10 weeks old today.
Litter HA1 is averaging 3.5 lbs at six weeks. Very good. I'm surprised Aster is heavier, because Daisy is built THICK. Anyway, that's nice to see. They're still above litter GC1's weights.
Litter OP1 will probably be closer to around 2.5 lbs. Maybe slightly under. They've been pretty mediocre growth-wise, but I've definitely seen worse. They're also absolutely ravenous now, and I'm refilling their food bowl constantly. They've got a good appetite.
The white kit finally opened its eyes! And they are... black. We got us a frosty. I can just barely see the start of some black tipping on the ears today, too. Honestly, REW would have been less problematic in this line, but.. you play with the hand you're dealt, I guess. It'll be neat to see one grow up, though. They're pretty.
In other news, Antimony's kits are BIG and probably can come and go from the nest box now, but it's been so cold they've opted to sleep in. The chestnut appears to be a doe, and I'm pretty sure the steel is a buck? We'll see if that changes or not. I'm not really planning on keeping either, so it doesn't really matter. My plans are known to change pretty frequently, though.

There's no question today, that is a STEEL and not a self black. Hell yeah. It's been a while since I had a silver-tipped that was EsE (and not wideband). Good opportunity for photos to compare as it grows. I don't have many good ones of Mercury and his brother when they were younger, but I got some of Tungsten's Ese kits.
Aris might kindle today. Hopefully before I leave for work. She's currently just flopped out on the floor, chilling. I'll update when I have an update.
I'm pretty sure that baby is a silver-tipped steel! Silvery hairs coming in on the head and neck now. Mercury looked just like this as a kit.
It's going to drive me absolutely nuts until I know if that black kit is a steel or not. I was checking on them tonight before lights out, and it almost looked like it had countershading, which... self kits don't have that. Silver-tipped steels, however..
Could have been a trick of the light, though. If it IS a silver-tipped steel and it's DOE, I'm in trouble. I don't need a reason to keep one of these with all the others I'm holding onto right now.
