Over the years, Delirious learned that a dead man still runs until they truly are one. Such was the case with this one. She was running low on places to hide on the roof, and he was closing in. One quick shot to the heel of her shoe and she was down, half of the body dangling over the edge of the building. She flipped around only to feel Deliriousâs boot dig into her chest, effectively pinning her.
âShame.â He muttered, licking his lips as he pulled out his gun. âYou were such a pretty one too. Any last words?â
âJust add me to the body count.â She smirks, staring straight down the barrel of Deliriousâs gun. However, she wasnât killed by it. A sniper bullet made contact with the side of her skull, killing her instantly. Delirious sighed. He let his foot up and let her body fall to the ground.
âYou stole my kill.â He said calmly into his earpiece, despite the small bit of anger welling up inside. âJackass.â
âWell, you hesitated.â Nanners stated, clearly watching the glare grow on Delâs face.
âWhatever. Thereâs no point arguing with you.â Delirious shook his head, and he could hear the echoing laugh of his partner in his ear. âYou better have the car with you when I get to the rendezvous point.â
âAnd you better be alive. There are three heliâs on your tail.â He glanced over his shoulder and confirmed Nannerâs statement: three helicopters were approaching his building. Delirious started running, moving from side to side as machine gun fire rained down on him. He ducked inside the building, quickly heading down the first flight of stairs to avoid stray bullet fire.
Delirious couldnât simply drop down to the bottom; he was at least twenty stories up, maybe closer to thirty. He knew that. Itâs why he tied a rope to the banister to be able to make his descent slower. So, you know, he wouldnât die. A quick tie of the rope around his waist and he was making his way to the bottom.
He was making quick work, traversing about two floors a minute. It was when he was almost to the bottom that he encountered a problem. Delirious felt tension at the other end of the line. Crap, they were here. He glanced down to see how much further he had to go. There were four stories until he hit the bottom of the stairwell: two too many for comfort. It left three options: drop and possibly die, try and swing over to the nearby railing, or attempt to grab the railing of a lower floor.
Option 2 was the best. Del carefully slid out of the loop he had tied around himself, so he was sitting on the rope like a swing. He swung his legs back and forth, trying to close the gap between him and the ledge.
He was almost there when they cut the rope. Option 3 it was then.
Delirious reached his hands out, grabbing the very end of the railing of the next rail. He clenched his teeth, trying not to scream from the feeling of his arms threatening to slide out of their sockets. He quickly swung, dropping onto the stairway below. Finally untying the rope around his waist, he quickly descended the last few sets of stairs to the lobby.
âGet in loser!!â Adam shouted as Delirious burst through the door. He honked the horn, earning a few honks back from nearby cars. âWeâre going shopping.â
âCan you maybe ... give me about ... two seconds to breathe?â Delirious asked, hands on his knees as he tried to regain his lungs.
âYeah sure.â Adam mouthed âOne, twoâ before honking the horn again. To Deliriousâ glare, he only smirked. âYou said two seconds. That was two seconds.â
âI hate you sometimes.â
âHey, if you didnât like it then whyâd you put a ring on it?â Delirious sighed as he got into the van.
âHey, weâre not married yet. I could still take it back.â Nanners laughed the infectious dolphin like sound filled the car. Delirious smiled. He had fallen in love with that sound and the man behind it.
It didnât take long for the laughter to fade, however, as both Nanners and Delirious spotted two rogue pickup trucks on their tail. Nanners hissed under his breath.
âAny chance you could please get rid of them, dear?â He asked. Delirious nodded, reaching in the back for an AK-47 among their arsenal of weapons. He winced as he struggled to grab the gun. Looks like the arm did pop out after all. Nanners noticed the slight movement, and he grabs the gun out of Deliriousâs hand when he brings it to the front. âIâm going to have to pop it back into place.â He muttered as he unbuckled. âDrive please.â
âCruise control?â Del asked as Nanners leaned out the window. He sighed, pressed the little button, and leaned out the window once more. âThank you.â Grabbing the rail on the top of the vehicle, he opened fire on the guys behind them.
âBullseye!â He shouted as he headshot the driver of the left vehicle. It veered into the other one, pinning it to a nearby building as they made a left turn. âToo bad itâs only dead. Well, if you donât count any pedestrians.â
âHow is it that Iâm the hitman and youâre the bodyguard?â Delirious asked as Nanners slipped back into the drivers seat and resumed control.
âBecause you have youâre own set of morals to follow. Iâve been conditioned with the Any Means Possible philosophy of conducting things.â
âWell, youâve got a little blood on you from that shoulder wound.â Delirious pointed to the hole, clearly recent from a 9mm round.
âHuh.â Nanners said, looking down at the wound. âNever noticed.â Delirious laughed, and it was Nanners turn to smile. The psychotic sound was music to his ears, and it only one of the many reasons he had said yes.
âHave I ever told you that I love you, Adam?â
âOnly a million times a day, Jonathan.â They turned toward each other, sharing a deep kiss that only affirmed that they meant every single word and it wasnât going away anytime soon. That they were in love, that they were engaged, and they were going to get married. And that passion for each other wasnât fading anytime soon. Even if it was just three seconds of bliss.

67 H2ONanners? from the drabble list prompt. And stay safe and take care while your on a trip :) *send hugs* â¤đđđđđđđđđđđđ
Prompt: If you donât want to talk about it then say so. Donât lie and pretend to be fine when you clearly arenât.
His room was unlocked. Adamâs Room was very rarely unlocked these days. Usually he did what he needed to survive â eat, pee, shop, work â before hiding behind locked doors and prying eyes. That scared Jonathan: being shut out by his own boyfriend in his ⌠their own home. So when a lapse in memory presented itself in a valuable way, he seized it.
âAdam?â Jon asked cautiously, as he spotted the aforementionedâs form curled up under the sheets of his bed. Tissues lay scattered in crumpled up piles and an untouched glass of water sat on the nearby dresser. Adam didnât seem to hear Jon, but that could be due to the headphones that drowned out any and all noise. That could also explain the jump the other did when Jonathan tapped on his shoulder and repeated the question. âAdam?â
âOh, I didnât hear you come in.â Adam said. His voice sounded hoarse, and Jon pushed him the glass of water in response. Adam declined with a wave of his hand. âDid you need anything?â
âI wanted to ask if you were okay.â Jonathan said. âI felt like I donât see you anymore.â
âIâm fine.â Jon didnât like those words. Adam knew that. They were too simply; they were too many times a lie. This was the case this time. Adam was not fine. One look around the room and a complete stranger could make that diagnosis. It wasnât that that hurt that much. It was that Adam seemed so keen on hiding what was ripping him apart inside that he was willing to push Jon away with such a blatant lie.
âI think your a liar.â
âI told you; Iâm fine.â
âAre you though?â
âYes.â
âIf you donât want to talk about it then say so. Donât lie and pretend to be fine when you clearly arenât.â Jonathan threw his hands up in surrender, walking away from Adamâs bed but not leaving the room quite yet. âJust because you turned off your face cam doesnât mean we canât see you.â
The two sat in silence and their own thoughts. Was I too much? Did I cross a line? How badly did I fuck up? How do I fix this? Questions like these and many more filled the coupleâs heads as both were too scared to make a move. It was Adam that finally broke the silence that threatened to engulf them.
âYou think ⌠that someone who hides behind a mask all the time would understand.â Jonathan didnât say much else, simply taking the words as a permission to sit down. âIâm scared. Scared that weâre going too fast. Scared about making a mistake that will send this hastily built foundation crashing down.â
âCan I ..?â Jonâs question was cut off by a nod from Adam, and he wasted no time. Climbing over his legs, Jon positioned himself so that the bottom of their feet and their backs touched. He reached his hand over, grabbing his boyfriendâs hand and intertwining their fingers. Jon could feel the shaking from Adamâs unsteady breaths.
âI donât want to lose you.â Adam breathed. âI ⌠I âŚâ
âI feel the same about you.â Jon interrupted. âBut for me, I feel like I have to move fast. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. And if I donât move quickly, then Iâm scared that Iâm going to loose you to someone else.â He felt the pressure off his back vanish and his hand released, only for him feel a hand run through his hair and pressure on the back of his knees.
âDonât worry; weâll find a speed. A speed that works for both of us. Weâll work it out. Because âŚâ Adam hesitated, his hand even physically pausing in Jonâs hair.
âYou want to say it together?â Jonathan suggested.
Adam nodded. âYou better be thinking of doing it the way Iâm thinking.â
âOh, I am. Ready. 1 ⌠2 ⌠3!â
âI love you.â They said in sync, voices getting louder with each word. âBitch! And I ainât ever going to stop loving you. Bitch!â They remained entangled in each other; their unique laughs filling the atmosphere of the room.
A/N: Thanks for the love Melly!! And the request. Hope you enjoyed it and are feeling at least a little better. Lots of love from me. â¤ď¸đđđđđđđđđđđđ Also, donât know why, but Iâve been on a hurt/comfort fic kick lately. Just figured Iâd give you guys a heads up for the rest of these. And the formatting wonât have breaks and stuff because Iâll be exclusively on Mobile.
Prompt this time is confessions. Also tagging @mellowdreemurr because this is her rarepair and I still blame her for dragging me into this ship.
âOhm, Just ... shush up please!â
âBut you know itâs true!â
âWhat is?â Luke asked, sitting down at the table with his coworkers. Mike on his left, Mark on his right, Jonathan and Ryan across. Mike immediately shoohes closer the older man and rests his head on the otherâs shoulders, an action Luke doesnât shy away from.
âJonathan is in denial of Montoyaâs feelings for him.â Mark explained.
âBecause Adam is not gay for me!â Jonathan argued.
âYeah he is.â
âYes He is.â
âBut he is.â
âHe is though.â
âI totally am.â
âThis is not your business to butt into!â Jonathan was practically explosive, his cheeks burning bright red from embarrassment. Mike grinned at the person behind Del, shooting Luke a knowing look.
âThatâs a shame.â Adam commented, making a little distance between him and Jon. âMust be another Adam Montoya that you are referring to. Because this one totally likes you.â
âWait really?â Adam laughed, the signature dolphin like infectious laugh spreading through the cafeteria.
âYeah, I am. What are you going to do about it?â Jonathan smirked, but itâs not nearly as big as the shit eating grin, the one he is practically known for, that Adam wears now. As soon as Jonathan gets even close to him, Adam grabs his hands twirls him around. He makes it so his back is to the door, ready to run at the next phase. Thereâs space between them now as Jonathan turns around.
âYou little shit.â He laughs, the smile on his face blending in with annoyance.
âYour move.â Jon doesnât hesitate, taking big strides toward Adam at top speed. But Adam is ahead of him, his legs pumping as fast as they go as he bolted outside.
âRun, Jonathan, Run!â He heard Luke mock after him. But nothing mattered until he had gotten close enough to tackle Adam to the ground. The two went rolling from the momentum, tumbling through the grass. Both men lay panting, side by side with hands interlocked.
âGot ya, ... BITCHâ Jonathan breathed, pushing himself up with his free hand. Adam just laughed.
âYay, you win. What are you going to do now?â Jonathan smiled, having a good idea that Adam knew exactly what he was going to do. He made his way over to Montoya, cupped Adamâs cheeks, and kissed him.
