By now, everyone should be recognizing Australia as a hotbed of new R&B talent, but when I get an email from someone like this young woman from Queensland, the skeptic in me flares up. She can't be for real, right? She's got a popstar's voice, writes sweet jams like this, produces her own videos, and possesses unfairly model-esque good looks. But sure enough, we chatted on email a bit and she's not a figment. This jam - her first single - was produced by Jrdn Gxnius and is clearly only one small wave to what I anticipate will be a rising tide. To A&R dudes who read this blog: yr welcome.
