Blakeshaw² with Albert/Finney and Gwen/Max is just Gwen sitting in a room with The Most emotionally repressed men ever. Totally unable to acknowledge their trauma, let alone make peace with it. You got two doing drugs about it and a third who thinks he found the answer in murder. Anything but confronting it.

She should hit them with a rolled up newspaper until they talk about their feelings. Which will be never. :3

This is Gwen, but instead of her charging them, they have to pay her every time they avoid talking about. She is going to be rich.

It really is such a shame that Gwen and Max barely interact. (Only briefly in her dream after he has died.) Their character arcs in the first movie are so fun and interesting to lay out side-by-side. The younger siblings trying to solve what is going on between their older siblings. Their interactions with the detectives about the unique insight they can offer. (Even though they choose to listen to the little psychic girl and not the adult man with visual aids. lol) The way I wish Max had gotten distracted from going downstairs by Gwen crashing her bike or the commotion of her leading police right across the street.

In a perfect world, Gwen and Max would have run a detective agency together.
