I’ve never been to a magic show. Nor do I really believe in the supernatural. But Guy Bavli made me wonder.

He’s no magician or psychic.And I didn’t get the super freak notion from his charming personality. But his ability was not normal--at least to most understanding of normality. He uses psychology, physiology and his personal intuition leaving the audience feeling as if he knows everything about them! The “Master of the Mind” as he is called, confuses your perception of the human ability. He triggers his thoughts to reach the pinnacle of concentration, allowing him to read or place images from your mind and even bend metal!

Now being the skeptic that I am, figured there was some ploy or form of deception involved. But then I became a part of the act! Before the show began he told me to think of a number—one that had a significant meaning to me. Instead I chose one that had none—it made me feel as if I would present a challenge to him! At the end of the show I went to get his autograph. I figured he forgot all about my number—some mind reader he was! But as I walked away and looked down at my signed card, there it was—my number!

I don’t know what I believe anymore but it kind of makes me wonder if I can bend a spoon (go see the show and you'll know what I mean)!
