most of them are very irezumi-like, yes! all monochrome, with splashes of color here and there. some are done in stick and poke style since majority of them is done in some shady underground place instead of a proper tattoo shop. he thinks some of them are ridiculous but hey, he’s way over his one-night fling phase at 41 yo, no one’s gonna see them anyways. 

i don’t have any definite set in stone headcanons regarding other characters because i love different interpretations and always first respect the take my writing partner has on their muse. but i like to think that archer is a founding member, maybe even the first one gio had his eyes on when scourging the kanto underground for shady people with spice and fight in them. 😌  so as of how long he’s been in his life, easily over a decade, depending on the take on the timeline of the games bc it’s weird and messy. basically, he trusts archer more than any other person in the world.
