Madara is a weird one because on one hand, he grew up in old times with his father who was strict on tradition. On the other hand, he’s never been one to conform to society (clearly) and will really exist to the beat of his own drum

He’s not necessarily surprised he fell in love with a girl who didn’t have traditional values, but he wasn’t going to jump into asking you out yet because with all Uchiha, they are scared of showing love

He knew he liked looking at you, the way you’d walk with bad posture and hands in pockets. The “manly” clothing you wore grabbing his attention and drawing him in by how it just fit you, he couldn’t imagine you in a dress, he’s not sure he wants to. The cuss words falling out of your mouth didn’t turn him away either, he liked the way you didn’t let a man speak over you – not that he liked any disrespect towards himself, but the casualness of conversation with you put him at ease

He thought the short hair suited you, he wanted to run his hands through it. As much as you stood on business, he saw how kind you could be and he wanted it all to himself.

Your hearty laugh echoed through his skull and the high fives you gave each other for such small victories lingered in his mind, he wants to intertwine his fingers with yours

Hunting and fishing with you was his favorite. He made sure to make it seem like it was a coincidence that he stumbled across you but he had nothing better to do so he stayed to keep you company, of course.

The idea of running his fingers across your back as you’re hunched over your fishing line waiting for a bite nearly put him in shock. So he pushed you in, as any sane person would.

Unluckily for him, you threw a fish at him and when he was distracted you pulled him right in. He swore you to secrecy about it, but when you’re alone with him the giggles are apparent.
