One of these guys literally came in dressed like an actual clown
The way you know the me-group are more serious business than the zu-group is because they know what shirts are
Grongi on the clock: Deadly beast men of the ancient age, revived in the modern times, slaughtering countless innocents for some sick game unless their ancient enemy, reborn in the modern day with a new hero wielding it, can stop them
Grongi on their downtime: a gaggle of dumpster goths hanging out in an abandoned? museum and/or aquarium trying to figure out the clusterfuck that is modern society while a woman with a red boa and evening dress tries to corral them into a semi-functional group, a bunch of them donât know what shirts are
One of them was literally trying to introduce another to this cool new thing called a âradioâ that they found
these guys are great

Just started kuuga for reals (I've caught bits and pieces and read the wiki before thanks to toeiâs absolutely archaic view of copyright in regards to their toku shows making it nearly impossible for me to find anything until the past couple years) and I am just loving how the grongi are portrayed
like yeah, theyâre extremely powerful and deadly and can shove off most conventional weapons like itâs nothing, but theyâre also completely out of depth in modern society because theyâre from the neolithicÂ
one grongi just looks at a busy road full of cars and gets overwhelmed by the sounds so much that he just yells
another one just looks at people paying for things in complete bafflement because he straight up does not have a concept of currency
they just blankly stare when people try to talk to them, because they donât know modern japanese and canât understand them and are still trying to save face
They have no understanding of modern fashion or clothes and mostly dress like mall goth rejects, the bat grongi just decided to steal the clothes of the priest he killed, only to ditch them and just wrap a tarp around himself; the rose grongi, who so far has the most coherent understanding of clothing, is still wearing a evening dress, opera gloves, and a red feather boa on a weekday afternoon
I would pay good money just for a what we do in the shadows style series starring these guys
Me: mom, can we have Hongo & Ichimonji?
