[8-12-2021] So after a bit of trial and error, I found a way to securely add straps to my 3D-Printed Gundam Half-Mask by @partonprints (I used an elastic band with a buckle going over my head as opposed to small loops around my ears). Paint came out nicely, I think. For now, gonna practice for tomorrow night's show with this thing on and see how it feels. Anywho, if you're in the Denver Area, come swing by VYBE for Silent Disco. [7-28-2021] For the most part, I'm done painting this Gundam mask I ordered from @partonprints a little bit ago. Quality product and I'm sure I'll order from them again. All I have to do is add TopCoat, maybe some inner padding, and some head straps. That being said, "Dear Cosplay/Costuming Friends: any suggestions/recommendations on head straps for this thing? [7-26-2021] Update On The RX-178 mask: I was almost done painting this thing. Just had to do the chin and eye thing followed by touch-up and TopCoat. But I messed up the masking tape on the edges of the chin/eyes and it came out hella jank. So I had to sand/reprime/repaint. I'm really mad at myself.
