We've all been there. Our sim is out having a lovely time with some friends, perhaps family, or a whole frat worth of loose acquaintances. They are hungry, they want to eat.

And somehow by the end your Sim has to foot the bill for the whole affair. Hardly seems fair, does it? I mean how often do you go around paying for everyone when you eat out? Nah. I am tired of my poor newcomers in town trying to make friends only to end up with a 8 people restaurant bill to cover on their meager salary. Clearly it is not my fault for making food more expensive resulting in 800+ bills (😇) but the lack of manners in sim-restaurants not providing a means to split the cost 😤 No more!

With this mod, the restaurant podium (*) will now give you the option of splitting the bill. Can be used on dates as well as outings, though it only shows up if there are non-household members taking part in the meal. If there are any such, the podium will give you the option to only pay a fair share of the total bill, corresponding to the % your sims make up out of the total. In the example above, only one sim out of 4 was part of the household, so the sim is given the option to pay 25% of the bill. If two sims had been household members, it would have been 50%, and so on. (**)

(*) Will not apply to custom podiums without a tweak, more info under the cut. (**) Only active household pays, the remainder of the bill is negated entirely. If you play a strictly regulated economy, your restaurant will earn less when you use this option. To track exactly what you ate, or force payment from multiple source is both overly complicated and more conflict-prone, and I do not personally think it is worth the effort here. If you run OFB restaurants, just don't use the option in those.

Edits: TTABs of the maxis podiums, action strings and pay bill action/guardian interactions in the semi-global, and adds one custom bhav to the semi-global.

Well boy does my sim Maja Sernman have the solution for you! The Sernman Group is opening a florist near you where you too can procure 100% authentic flowers that actually age! Insect-proof, compost friendly, bio-degradable flowers for you, and you, and all of you!

Inspired by @kashmiresims, and with a little help from some friends, I bring you my first mod of 2026.

Features

- After 7 days flowers will go old, using a new texture by Epi. By default a dialogue pops up, and camera will zoom to show to the rose.

- A new interaction to throw away flowers, that routes to the nearest trash can. By default the sim will think about who sent the rose, and roses can be thrown away anytime.

- Storytelling debug interactions for setting recipient/sender, make fresh/expire, pick text option (see below)

- Buyable date rewards, which thanks to debug interactions can be set up correctly. Now your sim can give extra, if they want to! You'll find them in deco/misc, prices are 5, 5, 15 and 55 simoleons (unchanged from original).

- Optional text default! Maxis intended date rewards to have 4 possible writings, but then they just duplicated the same text. I restored this to the intended mechanic and spruced up the writing. To give you a variety in style and personality, @kashmiresims @episims @nikkasimms and I have all written one entry for each of the four different date rewards with writing (bouquet, single flower, love letter, hate letter). Edit friendly, you can add more text options if you want to.

- Highly BCON tunable. Features can be turned on or off, some are active by default, some are not. See read me for more info.

NOTE!!! This requires Date Rewards by Color Traits by Episims and PForestsims, or PForestsims' default without color traits. It uses the default base texture, and will look extremely weird without their mesh default. Must load after!! Roses will error on expiration if load order is wrong, which erases sender/recipient info, so please make sure you get load order right if you care about your existing roses. Debug interactions can restore if error did happen, if you know who sender/recipient were.

Conflicts: Must load after the defaulted date reward. Will conflict with anything that alters pie menu and dialogues of date rewards. Adds new code to date reward semi global. Previously conflicted with romantic standards edit by Midge, has been edited to remove this conflict. Use HCDU+ to verify if you have other mods that alter date rewards.

The update is finally here! I've taken my old dressers require laundry mod and made it more tunable, and thanks to @lamare-sims, it now works for their laundry system too! If you want a purpose to the laundry your sims do, this mod is for you!

With it, dressers have a laundry counter and once the counter is out, your sim cannot change their outfit anymore. In order to regain access, you must store away clothing piles obtained by doing laundry. With this updated version of the mod, Lamare's system will pick up on and trigger my code which gives clean piles of clothes in the sim's inventory upon emptying a dryer or drying rack.

Sorry about the swedish pie menu text, I was too lazy to fix it this time. Original post has more comprehensive video with english text strings.

What's changed - Still works for Sun and Moon clothing piles, but now also gives and accepts laundry pile made for Lamare's system (you can skip that file if you only use Sun and Moon). Will choose Lamare piles first, code can handle some of both in the same batch.

- Counter now updates dynamically, so that if something interrupts your sim putting away laundry you don't lose whatever piles had been stashed up until that point.

- More tunable! Through an easily editable BCON you can choose yourself which lots and outfits should be impacted. By default no outfit categories are allowed when dresser is empty (work clothes not included in mod), and laundry is required in residential lots, apartments, frats, dorms, uni residentials, and vacation homes.

- Debug interaction added that can add or remove laundry, for emergencies. If you would like your sims to get no freebies, you can delete the four BHAVs starting with Function - Init, and dressers will start with 0. I personally prefer this, using debug to give them some to start if I think they deserve it.

Lamare's laundry system specific code - Calculates laundry based on how many sims are in household. Default setting gives 3 per household member, due to the fact that sims can do laundry autonomously and neat sims are likely to do so daily. Can easily be changed in BCON.

- If laundry is done by a service NPC, the clean piles are given to the neatest sim in the household of age teen and up. This also applies if you have tuned Lamare's mod to not require emptying, laundry will appear in inventory automatically.

- At laundromats, default setting only gives laundry to the active household. If you want background playables to get laundry, you can toggle this in BCON.

- Clean clothing pile object can be found in general/dresser, costs 5 (to discourage cheating 😉). Cloned from Mustluvcatz' clothing pile in the under the stairs storage set. 1146 poly, 256x256 texture. I tweaked something code-wise but alas I do not remember what any more, sorry xD

If you like this mod, there is an add-on by @teaaddictyt that subtracts laundry count whether your Sim used a dresser or not, for the truly hardcore that want absolutely no freebies! 😁 You'll find it here.

Conflicts - Pregnancy wear any outfit and inteen compatibility have been built in, I decided it is less confusing to just have one version. This mod must load after both. If the concept of teen woohoo bothers you, go uncheck the teen flag on woohoo interactions in the instance 7 pie menu function resource. - Compatibility has also been built in for Picknmix's Specific Clothing Racks, must load after his. - Conflicts with AshtonLC3's Dress for School mod, if you use that mod please download this plugin and have the plugin load after both this mod and Ashton's. Does not matter which version of their mod you use.

Will conflict with anything that edits pie menus of dressers, and has potential for instance number conflicts in sink globals and shoppingrack globals, as well as text list conflicts in shopping rack globals.

Mod may not work on CC dressers, it depends on how they are made. Please see the original mod post for more info on this, and how you can fix it if you want to.

Additional Hampers & Clothing Pins clutter

These are functional hampers for Lamare's Simple Laundry system.

I have always liked Cashcraft's clothing hampers, but they only came with one recolor and you best believe my color trait loving self wanted the ability to match a hamper to a sim's color preference. The meshes have been tweaked to make easier to recolor, thank you Latmos for helping me fix the single one when it got complicated. @episims was kind enough to agree to make beautiful recolors for me that come in all color trait colors. They also made the adorable dirty state texture, complete with different colors for the sorting hamper because well the point is to color separate your laundry.

Epi also found the hilarious basketball hamper that Shasta converted from Sims 3, and because they know my sim Benny is obsessed with basketball they sent it to me and of course I had to make that one too. I tweaked the mesh a little, changing the sock to a nicer one and changing dimensions some. Uses Epi's full state texture.

They are all found in plumbing/misc. All of them fit under counters. Requires Lamare's Simple Laundry system, they will throw errors otherwise because of missing BCONs.

Sorting Hamper - 319 simoleons, 1722 poly, textures for the hamper are 512x512 and 128x512, full state texture is 256x256. Master file. Single Hamper - 179 simoleons, 1130 poly, 128x128 full state texture, otherwise repo'd to Sorting Hamper Basketball Hamper - 250 simoleons, 873 poly, hamper texture is 512x256, full state texture is 128x128 and 64x128

I also made some clothing pin clutter for myself, that I thought perhaps someone would like. The wooden pins are a jumble I made from the pins on "3t2 Debug Clothes Line" in the Simple Laundry system, it is repo'd to that object. The colorful pins are based on a mesh by Maylin, I tweaked and remapped to a new texture by Episims to make them a little more 2026 graphics compatible.

They both cost 15 simoleons, found in deco/sculptures. Colorful pins are 396 poly, texture is 256x128. Wooden pins are 264 poly, texture it is repo'd to is 128x512.

A quickie little mod I made for @kashmiresims related to sprinklers breaking. When a sprinkler breaks, the mod will throw a pop up and move your camera to show you where the sprinkler is. So if it drives you batty that sprinklers break and you don't notice and suddenly the environment is tanked then perhaps this will be useful to you too.

The mod includes a debug interaction that can break a sprinkler on command. I made it for testing purposes and I figured it might be useful for some storytellers so I left it in. If you do not want that part you can delete the TTAs, TTAB and Debug - Set Broken bhav.

I come bearing an autumn gift. My friend @kashmiresims was doing fall load screens, and needed leaves on command. I decided to answer the call, and give all of us easy access to beautifully colored leaves whenever we desire. I hope this makes life easier for anyone that's ever wanted to make a fall themed community lot, or stage photos that need a fall touch :3

They cost 0, and you can choose if you want it categorized in deco/plants, or garden center/flowers.

I coded a debug interaction that lets you choose the state. To access it you need testingcheatsenabled active, and you need to hold down shift key when you click on the pile. State changed piles will act is as if they were raked to that state, for example tall piles will be available to burn or play in. Naturally fallen leaves are not impacted in any way by this mod. Please note you still need moveobjects on active to move leaves around, I did not change this.

You know how you can play this game for 20 years and still find new things? I only recently learned this interaction existed, and now I love it! Romance Sims with the aspiration benefit can smooth talk people, and give them a rose. Except it just visually presents a rose, that then disappears into the ether. Why not disappear into the pocket of the recipient I wondered? So I made that happen!

Thanks to some guidance from the wonderful @episims and studies of their functional camera mod, I was able to figure out turning this accessory into essentially a deco-object once it is taken from inventory. It'll rotate and fit neatly on a surface.

I recommend @pforestsims' default rose, it is way prettier and it's what I use in the pictures, but the mod will also work with the maxis original.

Did it need to exist? Maybe not. But I wanted it, so here we are!

No conflicts that I know off. Seems unlikely given the niche nature of the mod and the fact that it only edits resources in the accessory rose, but HCDU+ can tell you if you are worried.

Did your sim lose their diploma? Did you make an adult or elder in CAS and you want to give them a background that includes having a degree? Or do you perhaps do your own simulation of Uni that never uses the in game uni functionality? Whatever your reasons, I can think of scenarios where having a diploma on command is helpful, and so I made one.

And a buyable diploma is not much use unless you can set it up to be like an in game one.

Overrides the OBJD of the in game diploma, as well as pie menus, and adds some new debug interactions. You can access them by having testingcheats enabled, and holding down shift when you click the object.

Debug interactions - Change owner (gives you all adults and up on lot as options) - Set honors (impacts what the dialogue says when you view the diploma) - Set major (impacts what the dialogue says when you view the diploma. Cycles all available majors in your game, so if you have any custom, they will show up as well) - Current options are just there to show you what the settings are, to save you having to have a sim go view in order to verify your choices

The options that refer to current sim's whatever will pull from the sim's person data, so use these for sims that went to uni but lost their diploma. For honors, the none option will set the grade as the lowest possible while having still graduated.

Sometimes when I have energy, I will do things that my friends want. And sometimes if I have even more energy, the rest of you get to enjoy it too :P Today's offering comes to you courtesy of @teaaddictyt who asked me if this was something I could do for her, and it turned out it was.

This is an extension of Cyjon's original mod, that put children in their own sub-menu, and the rest of sims under adult. My version will separate out teens and elders to their own category as well.

Have you ever noticed that your game will put some sims in a chat-sub menu, and other names in the first level of menu as "chat with X"? Yeah that's because EA for some reason in the original code did not sub-group the children so they always showed up in the first level of menu. This will fix that as well. Please note that for this reason I had to clear all languages. It's only noticeable if your game is not installed in English. I have provided Swedish translation, but all other languages will default to English.

Conflicts: Anything that alters how chat menu is built on computers, or edits text strings of computer chats. Replaces Cyjon's original, remove it if you want to use this. HCDU+ required for conflict scans, original HCDU will not show all conflicts due to not scanning for text lists.
