The city puts these very cute signs with children's drawings telling passersby to respect birds around wildlife spaces, and I met one with a gull recently!

Here we're going to find out what's Tumblr's favorite gull! I love gulls and think it's sad that a lot of people don't realize the diversity of gulls, so I'm also taking this opportunity to highlight the beauty of all gull species.
This tournament was inspired by the other great bird tournament polls out there such as @supremebirdbracket @north-american-duck-poll and @may-the-best-penguin-win.

After looking at a bunch of low poly gulls, I've come to the conclusion that there needs to be more hooded gull representation in video games. I love my Larus gulls, but everybody please share the vast diversity of gull species with the video game developer in your life so I can see more hooded gulls.
