Gullfoss, Iceland
I'm on holiday with my friend RiverRaven and we're visiting Iceland! This has been our dream for…I think almost 15 years. We have at least spoken about this since 2011 and now it's finally happening.
We left on the 18th of May and will be back on the 5th of June. The journey started and Reykjavik (and of course we went here on day 1), where we've stayed for a few days and now we're going to drive all around the island (the Ringroad). At the time of writing, we are in Vík i Mýrdal, right next to one of Iceland's biggest (and still active) volcano called Katla and the more infamous Eyjafjallajökull that errupted in 2010 and caused chaos for European air travel.
We've brought Falkner and Yava along as well! I've recently finished two plushies, or more like pose-able dolls of them. I didn't realise that it was that much work! I've been working on them for quite few months as I had never made plushies/dolls like this, but I think they came out well! I've hand-sewn most of them, they have a removable wire-frame, a skeleton made of sticks from outside, resin eyes, and epoxy sculpted nose and eyelids, and nylon whiskers.
Anyway, our journey has only started and it was already difficult to pick photos… Maybe I will show more throughout the journey but it depends a bit on how much time and energy I've left in the evenings.
