Soft hearted shit! So I went to the #tractorsupply in #GuilfordCT today to buy #chicken feed. I really enjoyed knowing I wasn’t tempted to buy cute baby chickens or ducks cause I already have too many eggs now. BUT then I watched a employee carry a tiny chick to the back room and come back empty handed. AND my stupid curiosity got the best of me and I asked what gives... ?they take the sick ones to the back and try to nurse them back to health and most don’t make it. So here I am with sick baby chicks trying to bring them back to life. I know one for sure looks to be a goner. Sigh... But if you are a soft hearted fool they will give you the sick ones for free or a dollar. Go rescue a chicken. I have two #guineahens now too. I swear I had no urge to raise baby chickens. Update: The really sick one died an hour or so ago. At least he was held a little and it wasn’t a cold cage I guess.
