Yesterday was such an eventful day for me.
Very early in the morning, I went fishing. I had heard that hermit crabs make excellent fishing bait, so I HAD TO give it a try.
昨日は、ものすごくいろんなことをした1日だった。
朝イチ、とんでもない早い時間に、釣りに。ヤドカリがイシダイのいい餌になると聞いてたので、それをどーしても試したくて。
The first catch with hermit crab bait was ... this Japanese sillago, a big one (24 cm)! It was a huge surprise to me because as far as I know, usually sea breams eat hermit crabs and sillagos eat worms -- or at least that was my understanding then. Well, how little I knew...
ところが、ヤドカリ3匹つけてぶっこみ釣り仕掛けを投げ込んだとたんに強い引きがあって、釣れたのがなんとこのシロギス！！24㎝！！＠＠
うそぉ～！と思わず叫んだ私。だって、ヤドカリを食べるのはイシガキダイの類で、ゴカイを食べるのがキスと思ってたので。私なんかの知識、この大自然のまだ何も知らないに等しいなぁ...。
This was what I got.
I used different bait for these small fish (horse mackerel), of course.
これが釣果。アジにはもちろん、ヤドカリじゃない餌を使用。
Later, they turned into this midnight snack. YUM. :)
後に、夜中のスナックフードに変身。
In the afternoon, I joined this guide training session. They are going to train some local people to give a tour inside of this Tsunami shelter.
After two lectures, we actually visited the shelter for on-site training.
午後は、津波シェルターガイドの養成講座に参加。
座学のあと、実際にシェルターで現地トレーニング。
I’ve got a lot to say about this shelter, to tell you the truth.
I’m going to join two more practice sessions early next month, so I’ll give you more details about this facility then. :) Stay tuned.
この施設については、書きたい事が山ほどあるのだけど。
