listen, he knew he was going to be in the same class as a... really famous supermodel. like... he was pretty sure all of them knew that  ( though, to be fair, the vast majority of his classmates were really famous. woah. ). and, of course he knew what junko enoshima looked like! basically everyone knew what junko enoshima looked like. at least, he was pretty sure most people knew what she looked like. but like... woah. donât get him wrong, this is definitely no more than an aesthetic appreciation, but... dang. he expected that they, yâknow, photoshopped the photos or something, but if they had people doing that, they sucked.
still, even though she was pretty and intimidating... like, really pretty and intimidating... she was his classmate! they were all the same age! they were all in the same boat here! ( ... except he kinda wasnât; these people were all famous and talented, and he was an... average kid, if a little lucky. but, you know. same thing. ) he had an obligation to, at the very least, introduce himself to his classmates, right? after all, theyâd be going to school together, and staying here, and all of that. maybe she wouldnât end up his friend, but it was best for them to at least kind of know each other!
â woah. hi, iâm uh. wow, has anyone ever, like... told you youâre even prettier in person? ... sorry. you probably get that a lot; whoops. i, uh. iâm makoto naegi! itâs nice to meet you! â
... nice. heâs already made himself look like an idiot in front of her. he was not going to survive this school. ... at least none of the guys were supermodels, because that would be an EVEN BIGGER problem. this, he can handle. probably. maybe. ... he could HOPE.
