Hiatuses: 

We all understand how life can throw you a curve at any time. That’s a no brainer. But please, when you ask for a hiatus or a semi-hiatus, please add a date. If you do not add a date or give us a guesstimate, we will put you on for the standard week of hiatus and then take you off. We’re not ones too say you can only take a certain amount of time, but we do need a return date. 

Replies: 

Please make sure you are replying to three starters before posting your own, not including introduction starters. This can include social media posts. We know it was hard this week with not many starters being in the tag, but please be conscious about it. Even if there’s only one or two most recent ones, please reply to those before posting your own.

the admin team has been talking over the course of the weekend and we have decided to make some changes to a couple of the things we do around here.

first off, we have the APPLICATIONS! to make it a bit easier on us when we need to update certain pages, we have added a couple of things into the application. one of which is a spot for voiceclaims. as usual, if your faceclaim does sing, and you would like to use those resources, we encourage you to, but if your faceclaim does not have musical resources, you are welcome to add a voiceclaim in to use. we do remind you, however, that faceclaims take precedence over voiceclaims, and if someone would like to apply as your voiceclaim, you will be asked to pick another. the second addition to the application rewrite is a spot for a job in all of the applications, including the high school one. you are still welcome to have them be unemployed, it it simply just easier for us to keep track of who works where!

secondly, we are adding a RELATIONSHIPS FORM. this can be found on the relationships page, here. it is very simple and straight forward, and helps us keep up to date on who is dating who. all it asks for is the names of the people in the relationship, and their title. if the title changes at any time, we do ask that you resend the form in with updated information.

lastly, we’re going to be switching up the ACTIVITY CHECKS yet again. we did keep up the twice a week for a while, but ultimately, we decided that it’s not really working out. we understand life is getting a bit more hectic with everything going on in the world, so we made the choice to switch back to doing once a week checks. those checks will fall on saturdays, with member acceptance falling on sundays. in addition to the activity checks changing, we will also be buckling down a bit more on hiatus’. we will be requiring a return date upon a request for a hiatus, and if one isn’t provided, the default will be two weeks. one of us will be checking in with every single member, every friday to check up on all hiatus, date provided or not. if a response isn’t given within the following week (unless otherwise discussed) you will be removed from hiatus.
