GTA!Raywood Angsty Fluff
(fragile sniper ray and concerned murder boyfriend ryan. this got way more deep than i expected but that’s usually the case with all my writing. major fluff ahead)
Ray had nightmares. He was always running and trying to protect himself from god knows what in said nightmares. The started shortly after he left home and things got rough. It always went like this, Ray would flail and cry in this sleep and wake up in a panic. They stopped for a while when he moved in with Ryan. He didn’t think he would have to deal with the absolute terror of his subconscious anymore. But one night he felt himself being shaken awake by his boyfriend, concern painting his sleepy face. ¨Hey.¨ He cooed, carding through Ray’s hair gently. Ray felt tears on his red cheeks. ¨You were having a nightmare.¨ Ryan said. ¨You were crying, are you okay?¨ Ray took in a shaky breath. He was disoriented from the sudden jolt into consciousness. ¨I’m fine, Ry.¨ He replied, his voice raspy. Ray rubbed his swollen eyes. ¨You scared me, Ray.¨ Ryan confessed, locking eyes with Ray. This broke something inside of the younger man and he couldn’t fight back more tears that were swelling up. He buried his face into Ryan’s chest and let out quiet sobs. So he couldn’t escape his past after all. Even after all that had changed, the money, his apartment, his boyfriend, he still wasn’t safe. Ryan held him and rubbed patterns into his back. He was so good to him. ¨Baby, it’s okay.¨ Ray tightened his grip on Ryan’s torso. ¨I’m here. Nothing bad can happen if I’m here. ¨ Ryan placed a kiss on the top of his head as the tears dried on Ray’s face. ¨You’re safe. I promise.¨ He said, pulling away to look at Ray. ¨Ï love you.¨ Ray mumbled in response. Ryan softly pressed his lips to Ray’s, and skimmed a thumb on his jawline. ¨I love you too.¨

Who would throw the other in the pool:
~Ray would try but in the end he weighs 9 pounds and Ryan is Captain Fucking America
~and every time Ryan retaliates by throwing Ray in the pool instead
~Ray never learns and still tries anyways
Who is the better carer when the other is sick:
~Ray has to stay in one spot for an extended period of time and not move for anything
~so sometimes that means sitting in a sewer drain or near decaying bodies and Ray gets sick as fuck and Ryan is there with medicine and soup but will never ever touch him
~”I’m not cuddling with you you have the plague Ray”
Who would force the other to do extreme sports with them:
~Ray and he’s always a huge baby when he actually is sitting up in the plane he’s jumping out of or whatever
~Ryan’s only there to watch over his pissbaby boyfriend
Who would cook the better romantic dinner:
~Ryan. He doesn’t cook very often, but after a long day for Ray he’ll try to make him comfort food
Who would build the blanket fort in the living room:
~Ray would use all the blankets and pillows in their bedroom so he could make a little nest on the floor in front of the TV
Who would have the best holiday ideas:
~Ryan doesn’t visit home very much so usually tags along with Ray when he goes home to see his mom
~and Ray’s mom ADORES Ryan. Unlike most people, she doesn’t feel intimidated by him in the slightest and pinches his cheeks and calls him “mijo”
~Ray is constantly embarrassed by that but secretly Ryan kind of enjoys it
Who would need to clean out the other’s stuff to make room for their own:
~”Ryan why is the tv and my console on the floor in the living room”

GTA!Ray: ~wears mismatched socks ~smokes anything that's out there (weed, meth, crack etc...) but favors weed ~used to drink in high school but honestly hates it ~owns maybe 2 pairs of pants that he wears on a daily basis (not disguises for heists) and they look exactly the same ~sends a lot of the money he makes to his mom (she has no clue what he does for a living, but knows it's not necessarily legal) ~used to deal, but shortly after getting into a bad fight with a rival dealer, he became a gun for hire ~homoromantic-bisexual GTA!Gavin: ~he and his sister were adopted by a rich family ~birth parents were dirt poor due to drug use ~is blue-yellow colorblind (which can cause problems sometimes) ~has traveled the most out of anyone in Fake AH ~paints his nails sometimes (Geoff does designs on them if he asks) ~wants to get a dog ~Jack won't let him ~Ryan is trying to convince Jack otherwise ~he's afraid of abandonment and that's why he's so clingy and cuddly ~everyone thinks that he's just affectionate by nature but really he's just afraid of losing them ~but he knows his crew would never leave him for all the money in the world and he's so glad to have a reliable family ~panromantic-pansexual GTA!Geoff: ~has bad burn scars on his left arm from a meth lab accident (that's why he has tattoo sleeves) ~took art classes in high school ~has a drinking problem and will admit to it, but doesn't want help ~went to college with Ryan and Jack ~had a one night stand with Michael ~pretends that it never happened (they were both really drunk okay) ~has family living in Romania ~his fondest memory is spending the day on a Romanian beach with his cousins as a little kid ~paints designs on Gavin's nails and his own on occasion (he went to art school, he's good at it) ~wears smudged eyeliner (he calls it his war paint) ~demiromantic-pansexual GTA!Jack: ~is a transwoman ~makes Geoff do her makeup (he has the best hand eye coordination when it comes to stuff like that) ~has gotten top surgery but doesn't want bottom ~Went to college with Geoff and Ryan ~knows ASL fluently ~her younger brother was deaf, but once she started getting money, he got cochlear implants (she won't ever tell him where she got the money from) ~learned to drive when she was 13 (she had cool parents who taught her) ~she lost a friend who was hit by a drunk driver, and that's why she doesn't drink ~won't let Gavin and Ryan get a dog because dogs are not safe in their apartment people try to break in here this dog will not be safe and that’s final ~heteromantic-asexual GTA!Ryan: ~is allergic to bees ~you can shove Ryan in a room full of the most deadly criminals in the world and he'll be incredibly unconcerned but if he's hanging out on the roof of the penthouse with Ray and sees a bee fuck that he's out of there ~didn't know how to swim until he was 13 ~went to college with Geoff and Jack ~kinda sorta had a crush on Jack for a little while but it passed ~seeing his sweet best friend shoot someone point blank and not even flinch really awoke something inside of him ~has been shot more times than the number of years he's old ~speaks a shocking number of languages (including Gaelic, to Michael's despair) and what the hell Ryan you were born in Georgia ~grew up as a farmhand meaning he has insane upper body strength ~there have been occasions where both Jack and Michael are slung over each of his shoulders and Ray is clinging onto his back ~Geoff doesn't understand how it's possible but he can and will carry multiple people at once ~is really good at skee ball for some reason ~won Gavin a stuffed giraffe with his skee ball winnings ~knows Gavin wants a dog and really wants one too and is trying to persuade Jack ~She won't budge, she's a feisty woman ~biromantic-homosexual GTA!Michael: ~was that one kid who burned ants with a magnifying glass and played with firecrackers ~has a tattoo that is in a place not very visible and won't tell anyone what it is (spoiler: it's his parents' names on his right hipbone) ~Ryan cuts his hair ~was briefly a cheerleader in high school and he isn't embarrassed in the slightest ~is severely dyslexic ~he makes the excuse that english isn't his first language (it's Gaelic) and that his eyes aren't the best when he has trouble reading something and makes Geoff or Jack read for him most of the time ~has ties to the Irish mafia ~biromantic-pansexual
