This is a "Working" review of a HUION GT-190s Interactive pen display. For the review I developed a sketch into a painting using only the GT-190s and Sketchb...

You may have noted that when you shop online, the prices, product performance and the reviews may become the major reasons when you choose the product you need.

  In fact, not everyone is rich enough to purchase a graphics monitor, but HUION GT-190 is just the one you can afford to. Therefore, this becomes the important aspect that I chose this item.

The price of GT-190 is actually lower than many other equivalent products which is attractive to me (because I have limited budget). And HUION claim that it will offer one-year warranty to the customers who buy the product directly through HUION. Therefore, you may pay attention to whether you select Huion authorized store or not.

  At the first time, you may take noted that the cable should be plugged in correctly. Fortunately, the user manual explains all the things clearly. Then in the meantime, I noticed that there were many problems caused by the improper installation of driver. So you may take great attention on it.

  With 17.9 x 1 x 14.2 inches dimensions, GT-190 is big enough, at least for me. It has 2048 Levels of pressure sensitivity, 230 RPS repot rate and 5080 LPI hand input resolution. I was using this monitor to draw and paint so I needed hand-input function to realize the performance.

Do you own a GT-190  in hand now? After comparing the prices of different brands, I decided to purchase Huion graphics monitor. Not only has the price attracted me, but also the performance.

Now it has arrived here. I think there are two points we need to notice.

Firstly if you are working with a Mac desktop, please note that you may need to purchase a VGA to mini display cable; since you will need it to connect to your GT-190 , in order to make the hand input screen can display the screen of my Mac.

Secondly it is said that GT-190  can only work fine with its standard- equipped pen which means you can not buy the pen casually since you cannot tell if the pen you buy is definitely compatible with the GT-190. I ask this question from Huion customer, they told me if the pen of GT-190 has broken, you may need to get a replacement pen directly from them. If you need, you can contact this email [email protected]. Besides, the pen cannot be able to use with your ipad mini or something. It can only be used with graphics tablet or graphics monitor.
