blotting paper, as carpet, that needs to be replaced every so often

chess pieces as sculptures

mustard pot to hold fuel

cogwheel as a fireplace, and an inverted brass funnel like a chimney

(see this image, the fireplace on the right. it also shows most of the items on this list)

they scrape off bits of bar soap to use for themselves, even having different scent preferences

kids gloves used to make shoes

blackheaded pins and darning needles used as knitting needles, with silk and cotton to act as yarn

turren as a bath

lacquer trinket box as a settle

manicure scissors as scissors

Cheese graters, cash box lid, pierced zinc old meat safe, wire fly swatter > all used as protective gates in the walls

hair pins and safety pins used as clasps and locks on those grates.

doll chinaware as tea cups, but often big enough to be a mixing bowl instead of a teacup

(On that note, their soup bowl is once described as being knee-high when placed beside them)

I can't find what this one is, but a borrower was after a "liver pull" on a mantle shelf

jet beads as buttons

bristles from a doormat used to make brushes

cotton spools as stools

a sliced hazelnut shell as a cup

keychains as decor

rings as crowns

perfume bottle caps as oil lamps

doll furniture

aspirin bottle lid, as a pot

acorn and bone thimble as cheaper teacups

surgical bandages as towels

nametape on the pin heads to aid climbing

a wristwatch to use as a timer
