Anything to know about Faded Glory ?
Older character in their late 40s.
Has a Kiddo they are responsible for.
Former mercenary who was good buddies with the Kiddo's parents. They were in the same mercenary band and very close. That's why when said friends died and left the Kiddo behind, the Faded Glory hung up the cape to start taking care of the Kiddo instead. They've been retired for the kiddo's whole life span.
As a mercenary group, the Faded Glory & the Kiddo's parents were part of a group that predominantly tackled unnatural beasties that form - like dragons, for example. These creatures are unnatural amalgamations of elementals influenced by outside forces (angelic or devilish), so they cause a lot of problems. Thus, there are groups that tackle them en masse. So they were someone going out and fighting dragons, trolls, and other nasties.
Yes, there are a lot of Hounds that do it. Technically, the Faded Glory worked under one, as it was a Hound who ran their old mercenary group, which is why the Fade Glory is a bit more blasé about Warden worship than you might think. Though like any person they're a bit scared of Spiders.
