people love to harp on Bruce and use his grunting as like a 'bad thing' and not good 'communicating' as though humans don't genuinely communicate through grunts regularly.
like... yes, we use words, but a lot of human communication happens through non verbal body language and eye contact and hand movement and grunts
"Hey can you grab that for me?" "Mhm."
"Did you want ice cream or fudge?" "mmm. Hm." "Gotcha, fudge it is."
"Is that... red?" "Uh huh."
"Does that sound politically correct?" "MMMMM!"
"Do you think I can fit forty marshmallows in my mouth" "Mnm."
"And that's why I chose to eat the salad." "Hn."
like... grunts and subtle hnnnn in the throat are a regular part of how people communicate. Bruce is not bad at communicating because he grunts instead of saying words.
Please stop acting like everyone doesn't grunt from time to time as a way of communicating. We place so much emphasis on verbal wordly communication and it is important, but that does not diminish the importance of grunting and just throat noises that we use every day too
