Well it's hardly the fault of the submitter if the followers of a callout blog decide to send death threats to someone. That's bullshit.
true, but if they’re told about the death threats, asked if they could delete the blog because of those death threats, and respond to that with "nice” and brush off their concerns while continuing to use that blog that’s a bit shitty. they knew they were getting death threats because of their blog and acted like it was no big deal.
I wonder if people are assuming Kylo Ren was some kind of Damien-esque Enfant Terrible and that's why they're so reluctant to discuss what Snoke did. I don't know.
it does seem that a lot of the fandom views child!ben that way, doesn’t it? evil from the very beginning, a lost cause. there’s just something off about that kid, etc. when, actually, that kind of thinking is so harmful! no child is born evil. all children deserve love and care and a childhood free from manipulation and abuse. that’s a non-negotiable.
many fans who dislike kylo ren in current canon have no interest in discussing the things that have likely happened to make him that way, because if they’re forced to confront the fact that ben solo was mentally ill or abused or manipulated or, hell, even just a child like any other, then they might start understanding him. might start having sympathy for him. and we can’t have that, can we?
the idea that kylo ren was created in a vacuum - or that he was born the way we know him now - is a falsity. and a particularly nasty one at that. because I’ll bet the first person to agree with the assertion that there was something horribly wrong and dark and unlovable about ben solo from the start would be kylo ren. and that makes me so terribly sad.
It never fails to baffle me how ace discoursers seem to think the LGBT community was all sunshine and rainbows and marshmallow fluff before the Cishet Aces(TM) attacked.

Ezra has figured out that if he sits high enough when he comes out of his cage, then we can't reach him. His new favourite spots are the curtain rail, the light fixture, and the gas alarm.
