hii <3 i’m currently working on issues for all of my fav characters (if you like The Craft or 10 Things I Hate About You keep an eye out !) but I thought since this is a fashion focused blog id address an issue I have constantly !

I always get things that are just kind of bland/ boring and want to spice it up ! i feel like the 80s/90s/2000s were the peak time for customization and its gone away in more recent years but here are sum of my top picks for  ways to customize ur shit !! I will probably be posting regular issues like this when I fidn new ideas !

Notebooks. This one is probably the easiest because it’s the most self explanatory, but stickers are a good place to start. You can also tape on papers and sentimental items with packing tape (clear) or even draw/ collage on the covers !

Shoes. Classic, but don’t have enough money to get fancy ones ? deck out a thrift store pair :) Ribbons as laces, charms on the laces, drawings paintings and doodles on the actual shoe, and special ways to tie your laces. everyone will wanna b you (know from wanting to b a girl I met w cool doodle shoes a few years ago)

Bags/ Backpacks. Pins, Buttons, Drawings in permanent marker, all classics and still just as good as a base these days. Spice it up with embroidery, handmade patches, etc

Shirts/ Tops. Bleach dye (one of my new favorites) with traditional tie dye methods or even just a paintbrush for a unique design (in a ventilated ares pls trust me I know frm experience) Cut designs out, or even embroider new ones on. Sewing patches and bedazzling also very good options

Lockets. I recently got a bunch of lockets and was stuck on what to put in them and these are all good ideas. You can also do hair, dried flowers, small rocks/crystals, or drugs always work too. (/j)

Basic rules. If it’s fabric, patches, pins, and changing fabric color always a safe bet. If it’s plastic/ hard stickers are your bestfriend (not cringey ones) and paint markers are always trusty.
