"Ara, you've worked hard today as well." She was just returning from the home of one of her patrons, having crafted a few commissions to their taste. The pay had proven enough for her to consider doing groceries as she made. She was on her way to find Naruto when she'd sensed the Uchiha, training by himself as well. They were alike in interesting ways--but so different. He had such a darker look to his eyes then her Naruto. It was worrying. She set down a bottle of water and a pack of rice cakes--she didn't have much but, what she did, she didn't mind sharing. "Here, make sure you take breaks too Sasuke-kun. Training is good but you have to learn to rest the body from time to time as well--so I've heard." She added with a smile, since no one beyond the Hokage knew the truth. "I'll be going now, good luck Sasuke-kun."

How long has she been this strong? Sasuke asked himself as his chakra took the form of lightning within the palm of his hands, just how long?? It became stronger and stronger. Did she have fun keeping such a secret from him?? Laughing behind his back? Praising him for his strength, saying that he would no doubt become as strong as he needed to be..and when he needed the strength to protect them, to protect the village..to protect Naruto he failed. With his tail tucked between his legs he failed…and the old man had to pay for his incompetence.
