Family Matters #rant.
Just get over it and grow up! Why does it matter ?
Ever since my cousin Isaac was born [Now 16yrs. old] anyone born after him or before him; for that matter, hasn’t mattered. Or at least that’s how all my other cousins feel. Even Isaac’s very sister is jealous of his relationship with my grandmother. My grandmother favorites my cousin Isaac, yes it’s true and I will not deny it, and in all honestly sometimes it’s inappropriate. For example; if she comes to visit she will only bring a present for Isaac and not his sister, or anyone else; sometimes. However, this is not my dilemma.
What bothers me is why does it matter? Why does it matter that my grandmother has a favorite grandchild. Out of twelve children she loves Isaac the most. Who cares? I mean, she still calls me and my sisters; sometimes for our birthdays. She still tells me she loves me, she still prays for me. I don’t understand how my other cousins can be so selfish. I don’t feel offended or downgraded or less loved, and neither do my two younger sisters. It’s ridiculous drama, and all it does is tear us apart. Why can’t they just get over it? Not everyone was teacher’s pet in elementary, and middle school, and maybe even high school, but hey! We lived right? I just can’t believe how immature people can be, just grow up!
