I’ve always found it hard to let things go. But as I get older, I appreciate it more. Knowing that there’s a maturity and courage to letting something go at the right moment in time. Knowing when it’s no longer beneficial to hold on for anyone involved. . . . In the last couple of months I’ve let a couple of things go that I’ve been involved with. Although it’s hard, it’s also freeing. Because now I can grow and hopefully it frees up others to grow without me. . . . I challenge you, if you’re holding onto something, to let it go. You know it’s time when you have to work hard to keep going at it. When it’s harder to keep going than to let go, you’ll never grow. When you have to fight yourself or even with someone else just to find reasons to stay in it. When you’re negative more often than not. When you’d rather be doing anything else.
