#grovetober

Howdy there Godpokes! I am very pleased to announce that with the help of @picklesthenonbeanary and @blueskieswastaken I am going to be hosting the first Grovetober! A list full of prompts to follow (or not) in the next month!

This event is being hosted by @mcmonstructuk, with prompts also coming from @picklesthenonbeanary and @blueskieswastaken! I thank them for their help as I'm not sure if I could've come up with all of these on my own ;}

So, in what ways can I participate? I hear yew asking! Yew can do, well, basically anything! Write, draw, doodle, animate, whatever it is yew like! As long as it follows one of the prompts, it doesn't matter!

Can I skip days or submit things late? Yes! Yew do not need to commit to this event at all. If yew see a prompt yew like, feel free to make something for it! If yew see a prompt yew don't like, feel free to skip it! If yew accidentally missed a day and want to catch up and post late, then thats fine too! This is something being held for fun, do not feel pressured to make things for every single day of the event if yew can't/don't want to <3

Are the limits to what counts? NOPE!!!! Anything Great God Grove related is welcomed! Ships, friends, single characters, OCs, anything is okay! The only limitation there is NSFW; yew are free to create NSFW inspired by prompts, but please do NOT put it into the #grovetober tag nor tag this account in your post. This event is being run by a minor + there are minors who could easily be exposed if yew do so! So please make sure to keep everything tagged correctly.

The tag being used for this event is #grovetober, and yew are free to mention this account in any posts yew make relating to this event! Event starts on October 1st and runs until October 31st. Here's the list of prompts for this year:

Some days include secondary prompts, feel free to choose from either one OR do something for both prompts if yew wish!

Under the cut is going to be the list in text for anyone who may need it! This text will also include some extra inspo ideas for some of the more vague prompts if yew need any extra help. Feel free to send any questions to the ask box and I shall answer as best as I can!

my cosplay is done and im so proud of it!! this is honestly my best cosplay ever which isnt saying much since most of my other costumes/cosplays were thrown together at the last moment and i actually planned this one this year so yah

Day 6 - Devotion Burgers & Food as Love + Fall Fashion

Thought I'd twist the concept a tiny bit off devotion~ Once again for @inspekchin 's inspekchinweek... But its ALSO for @grovetober Day 6 since it lined up perfectly for me! :D (Technically this also works for Day 3 of Grovetober lol)

[For the Grovetober folks been making a small continuing mini story based on the inspekchinweek prompts for any clarification and the paragraphs below! Its not necessary to check out but still!]

Surrounded by burgies and regrets crafted through camaraderie, the master becomes the student. Devotion doesn't come so simply! Blinded by it, you'll compromise yourself. Not enough, you'll waiver on your goal. Disciplined love shape each layer, caring in consideration for each step. A mistake here? That's okay! Loyalty isn't perfection, its the enthusiasm to reach it! Finally, with the effort and time spent your destination becomes consecrated with that journey!

The partners, seeking through their troubles speak in a language both understand; helping and burgers. Their goals, unified again. Mirth is shared upon a new love fueled passion, a cautious nostalgic recall to learn from their memories. Innovate here and there upon their futures, craft a greater story to tell. They can harvest this new lease on life, though they can lead through that one step at a time with eloquence this time!

Maybe this truce is temporary. Maybe this is truly forgiveness. Maybe this is the reward for devotion. Maybe its Hector paying off his debt to his deputy-- nay, his partner (in crime). That's for Capochin to decide. Yet… Whatever the case may be… In this moment, this brief moment… They can be happy.
