LG CNS, a subsidiary of LG Corporation, and Ground X, the blockchain arm of South Korean tech giant Kakao, have joined forces to develop blockchain.

Division leaders signed the partnership agreement at an official ceremony held at LG CNS headquarters in Seoul. LG CNS explained that in the field of blockchain, there are many projects that intersect with each other in different areas, so it is necessary to create unique networks using blockchain so that these projects can effectively interact with each other.

"By working together with Ground X, we will erase the line between closed and open blockchain to present new business opportunities," said LG CNS head of strategic development.
