Rufous-headed Ground-Roller
The Long-tailed Ground Roller (Uratelornis chimaera) is endemic to the arid Spiny Forests near the coast of southwestern Madagascar. This ground roller occurs at extremely low population densities within its restricted range and is listed as Vulnerable by the IUCN. It is also the only ground roller to display sexual dimorphism – a difference in plumage or size between the sexes. A truly cracking bird!
