An illustration of my bard tiefling OC Aurelio for a challenge on theotaku. I was inspired by an old drawing of him and by Tiffany's stained glass artworks. As always alcohol markers and colored pencils on blue toned paper.

Long time no see. unfortanetely because of my wrist inflamation, no inspiration and the scolding hot climate in italy i'm not drawing much lately. I hope to get back at it eventually, but i'm sure it won't be like in past anymore. I just don't have all that energy anymore.
Instagram algorithm knows me and showed me some photos from an all women japanese theatre company called Takarazuka Revue, and god knows I'm a big sucker for a woman in elegant men clothing.. perfection (✿◡‿◡)
all the photos of the main couple actressess dynamic made me think so much of my ocs Hitomi and Akai and I knew I had to redraw at least one! (even if I wanted to redraw them all because thy're beautiful photos and amazing costumes) those actresses are just. so. beautiful and cool.
I tried to do a full background, even if i'm never goo at those but It wouldn't look good with only the characters. also in the initial sketch there were more background chracters but I scraped them, they looked awful. backdrop filler chracters are so difficult, becuse they must look less detailed to not fill and distract from th focus of the piece but still look decent. impossible skill level for me. since it's been a while from the last big backgroun draw i'm quite satysfied, even if it's not and amazing piece. I'm totally in a monster drawing / designing mood so i'll do more for sure!
It's time for the second Vintagetober prompt, The Princess with the Starry Hair. I decided to go for a 1920s flapper girl rather than a banal princess. The crown is a last second addition, I don't know if I like it or not. However, ink is a lot more fun to use than I thought!
I've received not much time ago a lovely package from the amazing Lena (bubblegumscout her on tumblr, check her out!!!!!) and with many others fantastic goods, she sent me some lovely drawings of my OCs. I was absolutely delighted, because her style is just so fun, spontaneous and pretty and is always a blat to receive some fanart from her. there was this amazing draw of (one of my) tiefling bard Aurelio, and I loved it so much that I decided to redraw it. I used some tecniques from the original like the crosshatching. I really like cross hatching and other textures and Lena is so good at it. I'm happy with the result but I still prefer the original, I really really love it.
Another OC! she's Elmirah, my firbolg rogue! I'm happy how "long" she came out because fibolg should be really tall! I'm quite happy with her! (I can't draw crossbows thought XD)

My third and final OC (for now at least) Is Zinnia and her helper/familiar/travel buddy Gizmo the octopus. Zinnia is a goblin girl (I know she looks like a half-orc, I should have made her longer ears and more teeth, but I'm thinking about making her half goblin half orc since she also is quite burly) and she's an alchemist who likes to travel around to find ingredients herself, instead of buying from adventurers. She likes to wear cute lolita dresses, because a girl can be both handy and pretty! Her octopus Gizmo (lol so unoriginal name but I love it) is very intelligent and quite useful when there's alot of ingredients to handle at once..!
I tried to draw on some black paper for fun, it’s nice but this paper was a little too flimsy and thin!! it was more like a crafting paper I think. I expected the colors to come brighter but in fact they were all desaturated (obviuosly lol) still it was something different! I loved using only pencils for once. Also I really loved the lineless one, but the lineart was necessary to understand the shapes a little better!
And the second portrait it's Elmirah again! I think she's very cute, I imagine her have this fuzzy fur all over her body, thats quite adorable! I drawn some fireflies, and for her flowers there's Holly, due to its pungent leaves holly is given the meaning of defense, precaution, but also of eternity because in ancient times it guaranteed protection from evil and bad weather. It is said that the Druids used it to drive out evil spirits. Also I choose the daisy, which symbolizes simplicity mainly. Among the most frequent meanings we find that of simplicity, innocence, spontaneity, goodness, freshness, purity, and faithful love.
