Roleplaying is one of those hobbies I’ve let sort of fall by the wayside as my old friends groups have scattered across games and my playtime has dwindled. I’ve found myself playing alone more and more over the last four or so years, and I’ve fallen out of the habit of engaging with other people even when the opportunity does arise.
So in 2017 I’m aiming to change that. Not through resolutions so much as a set of goals that I’ll try to check in on from time to time. My list is below the cut.

To preface this I’ve gone ahead and done two things.
Picked a character to focus on: Mahanoke.
Reduced my IC alt roster that might tempt me and given them an IC tie to my main.  While I have not deleted any characters I have merged a few into one IC entity by dual classing them. Mahanoke is my Tauren Monk/Shaman, Grokna is my Orc Hunter/Rogue, and Kixit is my Goblin Warrior. Awela may return as a Highmountain Druid if some discord based RP I’ve been discussing for her happens.
2017 RP Goals
Start a weekly IC journal habit and/or Pen Pal relationship with Maha. Â
Start up a monthly RP event.
Run a bi-weekly Transmog hunt for Maha’s guild.
Finish the 30 days writing prompt for Maha.
Finish a visual character sheet for Maha.
Reach out directly to 2 folks each month and engage them in RP or planning.
Build up to and run 1 dice based event this year using the dice system in Maha’s guild.
