“Well, I’d say its good to be back... but they’ve closed down that awesome bakery around the corner. Its tragic if you ask me,” Larissa said, approaching the first person she encountered in the event hall. “What’s new with Grimstone then?”

Blake brushed her hair off her shoulder, turning around slowly. “What?” she asked as she saw who was staring. “Do you have a problem with my dress? Because I totally pull this off.”

“What, you’ve never seen a grown man with a cat before?” Isaac said, stroking the feline with a gentle hand. “He was stuck in a tree, and yes, that is the worst thing to happen in Grimstone.” 

Kayleigh hummed, allowing a little bit of her power out, just caressing the other’s mind, rather than gripping onto it. “Hmm, what should I do today?” she asked, not sure whether the question was rhetorical or literal.

Sapphire didn’t know the tune exactly. She didn’t need to. It was all a matter of movement - one, two, step, slide pivot. It was fun. She grinned as she came to a rest from her pirouette, glancing up from her twirling skirt. “Am I in your way?” She was in the middle of the sidewalk, after all. It wouldn’t be the first time the dancer would be being obstructive.

“Wonder if everyone will be back?” He asked out loud, he wasn’t wondering about everyone though, he was wondering about one particular person.
