Small post about Saturn's "friend" on the sphere (pretty poorly explained but gets the point across)
Gachiakuta has very little information about the way the government works on the sphere, so these are mostly headcanons. The way I see apostles and the government on the sphere in general, is that apostles aren't just cops- they also serve as soldiers like in the military, and everything about it is more similar to the ARMY rather than just the criminal justice system (though I can see it being a bit of both at times)
- Saturn went through a military-esque training program/school when she was growing up after she got out of the slums to train her for her actual enlistment
- this system wasn't random. Her battle buddy was a guy who also struggled socially, so the two were paired together for that reason- because nobody else wanted to be with the two
- at 16 he was able to enlist (don't worry he doesn't meet Regto until he's an adult)
- Saturn in general was an outcast even in the inner sphere, but despite that, she got paired up with another apostle in a battle buddy sort of system
- I don't have a name for him yet so I'm just going to refer to him as "the apostle" and "the guy"
- The guy was actually pretty nice to him, choosing to try and befriend him to be able to work alongside him better
- in private, he would check up on her, treat her normally, hang out with her sometimes
- but even then, they were still different. He still grew up inside the walls, unlike him.
- so, there was a huge disconnect between them, and soon, the other apostles around them caught on, it's not a secret that Saturn was originally from the slums
- the apostle also noticed how differently he would be treated if he didn't associate himself with Saturn, so in public, he would ostracize Saturn and ignore her
- in private he rationalized it as him wanting to hang out with his other friends, that they aren't very social, etc etc etc a bunch of excuses
- Saturn didn't really have anyone else to speak to so she just went with it and continued to stay "friends" with him, despite the fact that he'd hang out with people who talk shit about her behind her back and in front of her face (she's a major loser)
TL:DR saturn has a fake friend and she's too much of a loser to actually separate herself from him + he's her battle buddy so legally she can't do that, he's not really expanded on as a character he moreso serves to show how saturn was treated at work

- Saturn and Regto aren't really in a formal "relationship," Saturn has commitments to him and vice versa but they don't really like to put labels on anything considering that they only see each other once to twice a week, that and how dangerous their relationship is in general
- Saturn is extremely stoned faced, being an apostle- she has to keep her cool and not react to most things, so Regto often doesn't know what Saturn is thinking
- At the same time, Saturn sometimes doesn't know what he's thinking. When they started seeing each other, Saturn still took duty to stand guard at the guillotine- and one time, Regto was there- just watching. Not shouting, not cheering, just- watching. Him. He couldn't tell what he was thinking but the way he was looking at him unnerved him so badly that he stopped taking those duties, Regto never brought it up and neither did he
- Saturn loves spoiling him, and will always bring some sort of nice gift for him to enjoy, though he insists that he doesn't need lavish gifts, so at some point Saturn began bringing food home for him, just to help a little bit
- Saturn and him often spend their time reading together
- Saturn doesn't really enjoy speaking her mind directly, nor does she like to ask things of him, so he's mostly just looked for subtle tells to know what to do
- Saturn really, really, hates the dark. So he avoids it at all costs and tries not to be out late at night- and because he can't stay over for the night, he uses to only be able to stay for a couple of hours at least. Regto caught on pretty fast with the way that when Saturn needed to go into his basement, (I KNOW THEY PROLLY DON'T HAVE ONE BEAR WITH ME HERE,) he hesitated badly, and spent no more than five seconds down there, so he began walking him to the wall during the night
- Saturn once vented about the fact that Rudo doesn't like her, she didn't blame him- but she wishes he knew she was only trying to protect him
- speaking of Rudo, saturn comes over when Rudo is not home. Most of the time on purpose, other times just by chance, so Saturn's never really able to actually connect with him (not that he'd wanna, anyways)
Before Saturn got dropped off the sphere, Saturn was in the middle of researching marriage laws and military/government housing.

Romanticizing your harmful obsessive thoughts and trying to minimize it to being a cutesy little personality trait based on an anime trope is DISGUSTING. Even vent blogs. I do hope you genuinely seek help and get all the help and healing you need but yanderes DO NOT EXIST. You are just obsessive and you downplay the real harm those thoughts and actions can do to people by labeling yourself as such.
