When back in the ballroom, every pony went and did what they wanted to do. One of the guests, Emily, had asked Spike to a dance, which he happily accepted. Other guests were talking with some of the Elements of Harmony about life advice, be it animal care, fashion advice, or harvesting stories.

All in all, Keira and Discord were very grateful that the day as a whole went well. The wedding ceremony was pleasant, the reception had been a blast so far, and things had run even more smoothly than they thought they would. Near the end of the reception, Princess Celestia came to see the newlyweds.

Princess Celestia: Keira, Discord. May I have a word with you two?

Keira: Y-yes, of course! We didn’t do anything wrong, did we? I’m sorry if I upset you or made you mad about-

Princess Celestia hushed her with a gentle press of her wing against Keira’s mouth.

Princess Celestia: Hush, now. You’ve nothing to worry about. Nothing wrong has been done and there’s no reason for anger at all. This is a wonderful occasion.

Keira: R-right. Sorry about that. I got a little in over my head. It’s just it all feels like a dream. I just hope that when I wake up that it won’t be.

Discord: Rest assured, Keira. This is no dream.

Princess Celestia: He’s absolutely right. Now to what I had wanted to talk to you about. I ask that you two spend a little time with your friends and family tonight. You two will be leaving right after the wedding for your honeymoon.

Discord: Honeymoon?

Keira: How exciting! Where are we going?

Between dances, Keira and Discord had some ponies come to them with compliments and praises about both the reception and the wedding.

Maxie: Hey there, Discord! Wanted to say that you really nailed the vows earlier today. I didn’t realize you were capable of being that way!

Discord: Well, I always have been full of surprises, you know. And if there’s anything I’ve learned, being honest with yourself and those around you always works best.

Rose: So, Keira. Do either of you have any ideas of where you’re going for your honeymoon?

Keira: We don’t actually know yet, but I heard Princess Luna and Princess Celestia have a place picked out for us. I’m excited to see what they came up with if that’s the truth.

DJ: So, what all was going through you mind before the wedding? I heard rumors that you just about got cold hooves and were going to bolt altogether.

Discord: I did get cold hooves for a moment, but if not for my dear friend Fluttershy snapping me back to reality, I’m sure things would not have gone well. Not to mention the several nightmares I had days before the wedding. I’m just grateful things went as well as they did.

Sapphire: Your dress looks great, Keira! Where can I get something like that?!

While Keira and Discord’s interview continued, the dance hall in the castle started to fill up more and more. The room started to feel even more lively than before and the guests were having their own fun while other preparations were being made.

Where there was empty spots in the dance hall, Pinkie had fired off her party cannon to help add some finishing touches to the decorating.

Pinkie: What do you think, Smoozie? Think they’ll like this?

The Smooze jiggled and bounced a little, a sure signal that he was sure they’d approve of the decorations. Pinkie giggled in response, clearly thrilled with the Smooze’s response.

Elsewhere in the hall, Keira’s aunt Desert Iris and Moon Dancer were talking about flower arrangements and meanings.

Desert: I thought the roses would go best on the tables. It might be generic, but roses have always been considered romantic and I’ve always thought they were beautiful nonetheless.

Moon: I agree that they are beautiful. And though they may be generic, they are very symbolic. The rose has always been a symbol of love, just as red has been viewed as a romantic color. I applaud you on your flower choices!

While every pony was working to set things up, Ruby Oasis and Pearl Star had a conversation about Keira’s deceased father, Lost Legacy.

Pearl: I know I should be happy for my daughter, and truly I am, but I also wish Lost was here to see Keira now. He would have been so proud to see her in her like this.

Ruby: I know Lost would’ve been through the roof to see her now. I can betcha wherever he is now, he’s practically crying tears of joys. I vote that we all celebrate in his stead. I’m sure his spirit would go on peacefully knowing we show his pride through our actions.

Before long, the train could be seen pulling into the station. Almost all at once, every pony that was there started getting ready to board the train.

Spike: Uh, I think we should hurry and get seats.

Big Mac: Ee-yup!

The train, as expected, was packed tight. Luckily, Discord and the others were able to get their seats on the train. Shortly after, the train started to pull out of the station. The sound of the train was more or less drowned out by the busy chatting on every pony on the train.

Discord: Well. I certainly wasn’t expecting my wedding to the talk of the town...

Shining: What did you expect? This is a big event!

Spike: It seems like every pony here is just as excited to see you get married as you are to be married!

Big Mac: Ee-yup!

Discord: I suppose you may be right, but it’s strange to me. The last time I remember this many ponies talking about me was when I first tried to rule over Equestria.

Shining: Well, at least this time it’s over something good for a change.

Spike: Yeah! If nothing else, you can say the turn up was great!

Just like that, Discord had teleported every pony to the train station. However, when they arrived, Discord, Spike, and Big Mac noticed it was far busier than normal.

Discord: Well, this is new...

Shining: New? You mean the station isn’t usually this busy?

Big Mac shook his head.

Big Mac: Nn-ope.

Spike: Do you think that maybe they’re all going to Canterlot?

Shining: I guess it’s worth asking around.

Spike walked up to one of the ponies that were waiting around for the train to see if he could find some answers.

Spike: Pardon me, but do you happen to know what’s going on? The train station isn’t normally this busy.

Daisy: You mean don’t know? There’s this big wedding going on in the Canterlot Gardens today! If I had to guess, just about every pony here is on their way to that!
