Hey, so Margot is a snail, right? Where's their shell?
Early on with designing them, I did try to give them an actual shell. But the thing is, it kinda looks awkward. So i opted for putting more shell imagery, like with the earrings and even with bags.
That + I was adding the "coming out of your shell" sorta thing to their character
I imagine before they ended up like how they are today, they were a lot more of a social hermit and would hide away. If they did go anywhere, they'd bring a bag with them full of different trinkets and things.
The little purse thing is kinda recent but I thought it looked cute.
As for the general shell imagery, it kinda gets a little lost in the dark world outfits though, as the earrings are replaced with skulls since their whole shtick is being like a necromancer of sorts (also im biased with skull stuff, sue me).

Not exactly sure how often I'd wanna make them interact, as there's reasons why Roseanne might not vibe as much with Dante's friends. But I imagine Roseanne's more chill with Ashton as opposed to Algernon. She probably wouldn't like how she joins in on picking on Dante though. I think they'd assume that one is judgmental of the other, but realize they're both kind of alike.

I feel like identifying too strongly with discourse labels is inherently bad for you, rots your critical thinking, and puts yourself in too vague of a label to be defining all your opinions. I also find that people who are too loudly a/nti or p/roship tend to take things too far and act very extremely hostile in ways I refuse to associate with.
Whether it's in regard to how fiction affects the real world, the treatment of trauma victims, or harassment and grandstanding, I think its all insufferable and people too ingrained in those spaces don't know how to act like normal empathetic human beings with nuance because they'd all rather fight about being The Rightest Person Ever. This "you vs them" mentality shit is juvenile. But if you say anything to criticize either of them to any extent you get put in the opposite label and potentially set yourself up for getting dogpiled over meaningless shit. it drives me insane. I hate all of it. If you have any form of moral OCD its like the equivalent of being put in a medieval torture device. I don't want to be given shipcourse labels. I quietly block problematic content I personally detest, and I avoid really sensitive discussions like these like the plague TLDR; I'm a grown adult. Don't put me in boxes I don't wanna be put in.
