The question had broken Locus from his pensive thoughts. “I have not considered it, no.”

“Why is that? I know there are many who would like to see the famed Moonlight Knight in action again.” There had been a teasing lilt in Griffith’s voice.

“It would not be fair, would it not?” Locus had responded, waving slightly to the florist he had become acquainted with during his evening patrols. “I am not the mortal I was when I earned my reputation, participating would only put me at an unfair advantage above the other entrants.”
