Okay so, I'm sorry about mansplaining this to you Momo ghfjkhks but like the idea that demonology comes straight from the Bible was so not in lign with my experiences growing up in a Catholic environment (school, family, nuns in my vicinity) that I had to do some basic research... but like the Bible (old and new testaments) don't mention any demons by name besides "Satan and his demons". It makes some statements on what a demon is/does, but everything beyond that comes from texts (by scholars, philosophers, writers, Some Guys) on Christianity and its beliefs... like if you go to an average Catholic mass the pastor is not going to pull up the ars goetia, is what I'm sayingghgfjsj
I SEE .. making me wonder if we've got these sorta guys who have like, brought/made stuff after the Quran and hadiths and things were established my end 🤔 (AND ITS PROBABLE THAT WE DO .. there's alot I'm finding that I don't know lol)
